Data & Payroll Support Specialist
Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Standard Business Hours
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the processing, analysis, and management of large volumes of data and information. This role will provide critical support to Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll teams while assisting with strategic process enhancements and system improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. This position will be responsible for reviewing and correcting data, managing sensitive information, generating reports, and supporting a variety of administrative and analytical functions across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain large volumes of data and information with a high degree of accuracy
- Review and correct employee-submitted data entry errors
- Analyze, organize, and validate large datasets to ensure data integrity
- Manage and process internal Excel-based reports on a daily basis
- Support Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll teams with reporting, documentation, and administrative requests
- Handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with company policies
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint to support operational and reporting needs
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and system enhancement projects
- Learn and support submission of required documentation through customer and government portals as needed
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- Formulas and functions
- Data validation
- Data analysis
- Large dataset management
- Report generation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong computer and data management skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with payroll, certified payroll, prevailing wage, or compliance-related processes
- Experience managing large datasets and reporting functions
- Prior experience in an administrative, data analyst, payroll support, or operations support role
Interview Process
As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to complete an Excel skills assessment to demonstrate proficiency with advanced spreadsheet functions and data analysis.
