Type of Position:

This role begins as a 3-to-6-month contract, which allows time to confirm it's a strong fit before a long-term commitment is made. It's a genuine contract-to-hire opportunity: the right person who does strong work and meshes well with the team has a real path to a permanent position. Conversion can't be guaranteed up front, but a candidate who does well in the role has a good chance of being brought on full-time.

Candidate Requirements:

This role supports a company in the aerospace / defense sector and due to the work involved with would interface with the federal government. This requires candidates to be U.S. Citizens. Candidates who are permanent residents (Green Card Holders) or currently hold work authorization through F1-CPT, F1-OPT, H-1B, TN, or other temporary visa classifications are not eligible for this role. Due to the nature of the work and federal contractor requirements, offers may be contingent upon successfully completing a background check and drug screening, which may include testing for cannabis. There are no exceptions to this requirement, including for medical marijuana cardholders.

Job Location:

Fort Lauderdale, FL (on site role at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport).

Compensation:

$25.00/hr to start (this will go up over time). Overtime will be paid at 1.5x for any time worked over 40 hours.

This role serves as a key administrative resource, providing support across customer service, payroll, human resources, work order coordination, reporting, and general office administration.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working in a dynamic operational environment, and interacting with employees, customers, and leadership on a daily basis. Strong organizational skills, payroll experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel are essential for success in this role.
