Relocate to West Michigan's Lakeshore — Beaches, Small-Town Life, and Room to Grow

Imagine trading your commute for Lake Michigan sunsets, sandy beaches, and a tight-knit lakeshore community, with Grand Rapids' restaurants, breweries, and big-city amenities just a short drive away. This West Michigan lakeshore region offers an exceptional quality of life at a low cost of living, with year-round outdoor recreation right out your back door and a genuine small-town feel that's increasingly hard to find. It's the kind of place people move to and don't leave.

The company provides full relocation assistance, with candidates able to begin the role remotely for 30-60 days while relocation logistics are finalized.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of aero and industrial gas turbine components and a globally recognized, publicly traded company with more than 75 years of innovation, growth, and technical excellence. Renowned across the aerospace industry, the organization fosters a culture that values continuous improvement, professional development, and inclusion. Forbes has recognized it as one of the World's Best Employers, a reflection of its commitment to employee success, forward-thinking leadership, and global impact in the aerospace and energy sectors. With over $7 billion in revenue, the company continues to thrive in its industry.

What Sets This Opportunity Apart

Our client is seeking a strategic finance leader to partner with the Plant Manager and drive financial excellence at a key manufacturing facility. This role offers the opportunity to be at the center of operational decision-making, providing insights, analysis, and leadership that directly impact performance and profitability.

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Information Systems, Procurement, and Accounting, to ensure robust manufacturing systems are in place. You'll play a hands-on role in shaping business improvement initiatives, setting performance goals with plant leadership, and analyzing results across quality, productivity, delivery, cycle time, inventory optimization, and profitability.

This position also involves building economic models to evaluate investments, cost savings opportunities, and product line decisions; supporting business unit initiatives; and leading the forecasting, planning, and reporting processes. You'll manage the capital appropriation process and post-project reviews, ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley controls, and provide leadership to a talented finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and enjoys being a true business partner, driving strategy, ensuring financial rigor, and helping the plant reach its full potential.
