Benefits: Hello!
Thank you for checking out our posting for the Controller position! We know there are a lot of job opportunities out there, so thank you for taking some time to learn more about us and what makes Paradise Dental Technologies a great place to work.
As our Controller, you will oversee PDT’s accounting operations and help ensure our financial information is accurate, timely, and useful. You will lead the accounting team and support essential functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger activity, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and tax compliance. You will also help maintain strong internal controls and provide financial insight that supports the long-term health and direction of the company.
Because we are a manufacturing organization, this position goes beyond traditional accounting. You will work closely with our production and operations teams on cost accounting, inventory, work in process, labor and overhead absorption, margin analysis, and financial reporting. You will also help maintain the integrity of information within our ERP system and develop processes and controls that improve financial accuracy and efficiency across the organization.
Individuals who enjoy this position are those who appreciate both the precision of accounting and the opportunity to see how financial information connects to real-world manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative. You should enjoy solving problems, improving processes, managing multiple deadlines, and working both independently and collaboratively. This role also requires someone who can communicate financial information clearly and contribute to strategic planning alongside company leadership.
We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and approximately four to six years of accounting experience, including experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll or benefits, and accounting supervision. A strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting is important, and previous manufacturing accounting experience is preferred. A CPA, CMA, or similar certification is also preferred. Experience with QuickBooks, Acumatica, or another ERP or accounting system will help you be successful in this position.
You will also have access to our complete benefit package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance; an HSA contribution; paid time off; paid holidays; profit sharing; a 401(k) match; a company-paid Direct Primary Care membership; and more! We truly believe that our team is invaluable, and we understand that we need to work as hard for our team as they work for PDT.
In summary, if you are an experienced accounting professional who enjoys combining financial leadership, detailed analysis, team collaboration, and continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you. If you want to bring your skills to a growing manufacturing company where your work can have a visible impact, please complete our application and include both a resume and cover letter. In your cover letter, we invite you to tell us a little more about your background, what interests you about this opportunity, and why you believe PDT could be a great fit for you.

Thank you again for taking the time to review this post. If you have any questions or would like a full job description, feel free to email our HR department at human.resources@pdtdental.com.
