Controller/Full Charge Accountant

Frisbees, Inc. has been an HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical industry leader since 1960 and is seeking an onsite Controller/Full Charge Accountant for immediate hire. We are looking for an ambitious individual with an analytical mindset. Our ideal candidate must have an intrinsic motivation to not only figure out what the numbers are but also inquire into why the numbers are what they are. The person will work directly with all other departments to preserve and strengthen Frisbees' financial health.

Candidate must be proficient in: generating financial reports, 401k administration, payroll, sales and excise tax reporting, general ledger and account reconciliations, and daily cash activity oversight and analysis.

Candidate must have a strong skill set in Microsoft Excel, and be able to work independently and in a team environment. Experience in a company’s transition to new software systems and the responsibility for exporting and integrating the new software is required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with a software team to create a custom software system for a company.

Salary $90,000+ depending on qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Two-Plus years of relevant hands-on experience. (Five-Plus years preferred)

Analytical Mindset

Construction Accounting is a plus

Financial Management Skills

Experience in establishing protocols and procedures.

Inventory Control Skills and Experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
