About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager to join a growing accounting advisory team supporting privately held businesses. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong experience in post-acquisition accounting, Purchase Price Accounting (PPA), Net Working Capital (NWC) true-ups, financial reporting, and accounting process improvements.

You will work directly with clients, lead complex accounting engagements, support mergers and acquisitions, and help organizations build scalable accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead post-close accounting engagements following mergers and acquisitions.

• Prepare opening balance sheet adjustments and Purchase Price Accounting (PPA) schedules.

• Manage Net Working Capital (NWC) true-up processes.

• Support accounting integration activities after acquisitions.

• Provide technical accounting guidance in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606.

• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Lead ERP implementations, accounting system migrations, and process improvement initiatives.

• Design accounting procedures, reporting structures, and internal controls.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements.

• Review work prepared by accounting staff and mentor junior team members.

• Manage multiple client projects while maintaining exceptional service quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.

• Strong experience with:

  • Client Accounting Services (CAS)

  • Post-close Accounting

  • Purchase Price Accounting (PPA)

  • Net Working Capital (NWC) True-ups

  • M&A Integration

  • U.S. GAAP

  • ASC 606

• Experience with one or more accounting platforms:

  • NetSuite

  • Sage Intacct

  • QuickBooks Online

  • Xero

  • Bill.com

  • Ramp

• Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.
