Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Clean Fuels Compliance Analyst on a permanent basis on our Energy Roadmap team. This position will be required to be on-site at our Regina, SK Office. We are seeking an analytical and collaborative professional to support clean fuel compliance programs, environmental credit management, carbon reduction initiatives, and government funding opportunities that help position Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) for long-term success in a lower-carbon economy. What you’ll do: Coordinate, prepare, and oversee government funding applications, reporting requirements, and stakeholder engagement for decarbonization and energy transition initiatives across the organization. Analyze and validate operational data supporting carbon capture, renewable feedstock co-processing, low carbon intensity fuel production and other regulatory compliance initiatives. Track, reconcile, and monitor environmental credit balances, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, supporting documentation, and regulatory compliance. Conduct regulatory and economic analysis related to renewable feedstocks, environmental credits, and other commodities to support compliance planning and decision making. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify compliance risks, funding opportunities, and strategies that support cost-effective regulatory compliance. Monitor evolving regulations, market developments, and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks related to clean fuels, carbon management, and energy transition programs. Have 3 to 6 years of related experience in regulatory compliance, business analysis, engineering, sustainability, finance, energy, or a related field. Have a university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable working with diverse stakeholders across technical and business disciplines. Are experienced with reporting, forecasting, data analysis, and managing multiple priorities and deadlines. For Engineering candidates, eligibility for registration or registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with APEGS is considered an asset.
