The CFO reports to the CEO and ensures that the organization’s resources align with Pine Castle’s core mission. Supervises the activities and employees in both the Finance and Information Technology Departments while also acting as an important team member of Executive Leadership.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned as needed.     QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Completion of required background screening as required by Florida Statutes (see HB531 | Florida Agency for Health Care Administration for more information).   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university, majoring in Business, Accounting, or Finance required; five years accounting experience and 5 years supervisory experience required. CPA credential preferred. Non-profit experience preferred.   LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.   MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. Ability to appropriately utilize spreadsheets as a tool for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.   REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.   OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Experience working in a non-profit organization is preferred. Experience in computerized spreadsheet is required. Ability to demonstrate high level of organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work with frequent deadlines.
