The team you will join
As our Chief Financial Officer, you will join the (Global) Management Team (MT) and play a pivotal role in charting the future growth and financial strategy of iChoosr. You will step into a highly international, collaborative, and mission-driven leadership environment, guiding our finance organization across multiple countries to support our scaling business.

Job requirements

Your responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: Serve as an active and vital member of the Global Management Team, collaborating on global corporate strategy, scalability, and long-term business planning.

• Financial steering & oversight: Lead our Finance, Accounting & Compliance team of in total 7 members. 3 colleagues in Accounting, 1 colleague in Compliance and 1 in Business Control. Steering global budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.

• System transformation: Spearhead the evaluation, selection, and hands-on implementation of a modern, next-generation global Accounting tool to support our digital solutions and international scale.

• Data-driven insights: Translate complex financial metrics into actionable, strategic insights for board members, internal stakeholders, and the MT to facilitate commercial decision-making.

• Governance, Risk & Compliance: Act as the ultimate responsible executive for Security, Privacy and Compliance, overseeing our ISO 27001 certification maintenance, data protection (GDPR), and corporate governance frameworks across all entities. Ensure seamless cross-border financial operations, managing complex multi-currency landscape, treasury management, tax optimization, and regulatory audit readiness across our operating countries.

Your expertise

• Proven executive leadership: Extensive experience in finance management at a senior leadership level (CFO, VP of Finance, or Finance Director) with a track record of scaling operations. Shape our organization's financial foundation as we continue to grow.

• Global perspective: Deep international finance experience, specifically navigating multi-entity organizations across different regions and different currencies.

• Systems maverick: Hands-on experience leading a comprehensive implementation of a new Accounting/ERP software tool, driving business efficiency and digital transformation.

• Compliance & Security mindset: Proven experience or strong affinity with managing compliance, risk assessment, and information security standards, including hands-on exposure to ISO 27001 frameworks.

• English speaker: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English, with the capability to easily align international teams and stakeholders.

• Based in the Netherlands: Currently residing in the Netherlands with easy access to our inspiring office in the center of Amsterdam.

• People first: Strong management and mentorship capabilities leading a team of 6 finance & compliance professionals.
