CWF Restoration is a growing restoration company that helps homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, and other property damage when things go sideways.
This person will work closely with ownership and senior leadership to improve financial visibility, protect profitability, manage risk, and support better business decisions. The ideal candidate is strategic but still willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, and reporting.
- Advise ownership and senior leadership on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
- Prepare and present financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor company, branch, department, and project profitability.
- Establish and track financial and operational performance indicators.
- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing, collections, and the general ledger.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- Oversee job costing, revenue recognition, work-in-progress reporting, and project-related accounting.
- Maintain strong financial controls, policies, and approval processes.
- Manage banking, insurance, audit, tax, and outside financial relationships.
- Improve financial systems, reporting tools, and accounting processes.
- Lead and develop the accounting team.
- Work with department leaders to improve financial accountability and performance.
- Support expansion, investments, and other growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a senior accounting or financial leadership position.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, and internal controls.
- Experience leading an accounting team and working directly with ownership or executive leadership.
- Restoration, construction, property services, or job-costing experience is preferred but not required.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and financial judgment.
