Cash Application Specialist

Cash Application Specialist. NextStep Recruiting is requiring an experienced Cash Application Specialist for a 3-4 month contract assignment to help with several active projects in the cash applications department! Candidates must have:

• 1+ years of large company cash applications experience
• Strong foundation of cash applications processes
• Intermediate Excel skills and good technology skills. Good experience with ERP’s and with payment portals is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

This is a fantastic resume-building contract assignment as you will be involved with several projects in the cash applications department. Their role is hybrid out of McKinney, so a commute 3 days per week to McKinney must be ok. This job will start early to mid-July 2026, so our client is eager to get started! If you have one plus years of cash applications experience and can start a 3-4 month contract/temporary assignment in early to mid-July 2026, please apply today!
