The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive visible, regulatory-facing deliverables; work at the intersection of liquidity reporting, data governance, and operational resilience; and partner closely with Finance, Treasury, Technology, and Risk to improve data quality and control discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the FR2052a production process, including source-to-report mappings, key calculations, and material assumptions
- Write BRDs for technology
- Ensure version control and audit-ready evidence
- Partner with data owners, SMEs, and technology teams to generate accurate and timely reporting and map processes to governance and controls (controls inventory, control descriptions, testing artifacts, issue management)
- Work with Technology, Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Data Management teams to investigate data issues and implement sustainable solutions
Required Experience
- 5 years of experience in Treasury, Liquidity Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting, or Finance within a banking environment
- Direct hands-on experience producing and managing the FR2052a Complex Institution Liquidity Monitoring Report, preferably in a daily T 2 reporting environment (strong understanding of FR2052a instructions, reporting schedules, data sourcing, regulatory interpretations, and governance requirements)
- 5 years of recent experience executing end-to-end report production, including data validation, reconciliations, exception management, issue resolution, and regulatory submission support
- Experience documenting business requirements and process improvements through Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and data mapping documentation
- Demonstrated experience leading and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test script development, defect management, and validation of regulatory reporting enhancements
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience supporting other regulatory liquidity reports (LCR, NSFR, FR Y-15, 6G FR2052a, Resolution Planning, Reg YY reporting)
- Ability to analyze and assess new products, business initiatives, and transactions to determine appropriate FR2052a reporting treatment and data requirements
- Strong knowledge of banking products and balance sheet activities, including deposits, loans, secured funding, derivatives, prime brokerage, securities financing transactions, and capital markets products
- Experience supporting regulatory examinations, internal audits, or remediation programs
Required Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, data analysis, reconciliations, pivot tables, and large dataset manipulation
- Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset with a willingness to roll up sleeves and resolve issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, audit-ready deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to challenge assumptions, investigate discrepancies, and drive issues to resolution
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across business and technology teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced regulatory reporting environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with SQL, data warehouses, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and reporting automation initiatives
