Bookkeeper – QuickBooks Desktop (3–5 Years Experience)

Position Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks Desktop skills for our client. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of hands‐on bookkeeping experience, excellent attention to detail, and confidence managing day‐to‐day accounting functions. This role offers flexible and negotiable hours to accommodate other part‐time commitments, while still requiring consistent in‐office presence.
Key Responsibilities

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable workflows
Complete bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and file HST remittances
Process WSIB reporting and submissions
Perform payroll duties, including source deductions and record‐keeping
Maintain vendor and customer accounts in QuickBooks Desktop
Assist with month‐end and year‐end preparation
Ensure timely and accurate data entry, documentation, and file management
Communicate professionally with internal staff, vendors, and customers
Support general administrative accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

3–5 years of bookkeeping experience
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (mandatory)
Solid understanding of AP/AR, HST, WSIB, bank reconciliations, and payroll
High accuracy in data entry and record‐keeping
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Professional communication skills
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
Must be able to work on‐site; remote work is not available
