Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper

Location: Dallas, Texas Preston Center Area
Schedule: Mon-Thurs Frid off 8am-5pm Flex hours
Reports to: Business Owner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in our records. This role is ideal for someone looking to work flexible hours while maintaining a critical role in the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and categorize daily financial transactions using [QuickBooks a MUST]

• Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor statements

• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Maintain and organize financial records and documentation

• Assist with payroll processing and compliance (as needed)

• Collaborate with accountant during tax season or audits

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk, or similar role

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Excel)

• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and GAAP

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage time independently and meet deadlines

• Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with payroll systems or HR platforms

• Familiarity with accounting (if applicable)

• Ability to adapt to new software or technologies quickly
