HornBill is assisting a leading Long Island, NY based CPA firm that is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant with Solid Public Accounting Experience in Melville, NY. The ideal candidate will handle all accounting activities via QuickBooks for diverse clients such as a growing restaurant group, etc. Work will include general ledger, payroll, taxes, bank reconciliations, etc. Outstanding work environment very competitive compensation and benefits.
- 5+ years of recent bookkeeping/accounting experience with a small to mid-sized CPA firm QuickBooks is a must
- Experience handling payroll and performing reconciliations is a must
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work some light OT during busy seasons as needed
