Job Title: Accountant/Bookkeeper

Pay Rate: $23.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper to support daily accounting functions and maintain accurate financial records. This position offers a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

The ideal candidate will have prior bookkeeping or accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist with payroll processing and invoicing
• Support monthly financial reporting and documentation
• Organize and maintain accounting records and files
• Ensure compliance with established accounting procedures and company policies
• Perform additional administrative and accounting-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience required
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, or similar platforms preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Professional verbal and written communication skills

Work Schedule

• Flexible scheduling available
• Approximately 25 or more hours per week
• Hours may vary based on workload and business needs

Compensation

• $23.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
