Bookkeeper

The Bookkeeper for the CSE Care/Maintenance Unit is responsible for creating, screening, submitting and canvassing vouchers (collecting, screening, creating, reviewing, and making determinations) for the unit as well as preparing transfer sheets, checking attendance requirements and determining the amounts of funds dispersed. Typical duties include but are not limited to:

Verifies accounting data for accuracy and completeness.
Reviews documents to ensure that necessary entries are made.
Resolves the more difficult workflow problems; adjusts work procedures and methods.
Performs computations related to financial records, when necessary.
Utilizes manual and automated office systems.
Collects and assembles data and prepares reports as required.
Performs related tasks, as necessary.

Minimum 5 year of related experience or equivalent college credits.

High school diploma or GED
