Billing Specialist

Responsible for timely submission of claims to insurance companies for a variety of medical services and providers, as well as monitoring and ensuring payments for medical services are received in a timely manner. In addition, reviews claim for accuracy, compliance, and completeness determined by contracts and payers.

• Proficient in Microsoft word and excel.
• Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension, oral expression, written comprehension, and written expression
• Outstanding public relations/customer service experience
• High level of personal presentation
• Ability to maintain accuracy with interruptions
• Ability to use sound judgement and cope with potentially stressful situations
