Bilingual Staff Accountant

About The Role:

Advanced English level is a MUST! We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This position is ideal for candidates with 3 years of experience who are eager to grow their career in real estate accounting. The Staff Accountant supports the accounting team by performing daily, monthly, annual accounting tasks, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of data for a portfolio of multifamily properties.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, and annual closings.
• Complete the preparation of monthly/annual financial statements, and internal reports for review.
• Record accruals and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Maintain accurate records for multiple entities within the portfolio.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with variance analysis.
• Help gather documentation for tax filings.
• Collaborate with property managers, regional managers, and other third-party companies to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Advanced English level is a MUST!
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of accounting experience (internship experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Real Page or similar preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Other: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range And Compensation Package

• Monthly salary: 5.500.000 - 6.000.000 COP
• Type of contract: Permanent / Indefinite contract
