Job description Provide a full range of fund accounting services to private equity clients, including NAV preparation, accruals, Investment valuation, cash reconciliations. Prepare fee schedules including calculation of management fee and waterfall, ensuring all calculations observe applicable fund documents. Prepare Investor allocations for each NAV cycle ensuring capital transactions are booked correctly and P&L is allocated correctly. Prepare NAV packages and other ad hoc deliverables as defined in the service level agreements. Prepare capital call, distribution calculation and allocation. Communicate with internal MUFG teams and external clients, ensuring all deliverables and requests are met. Resolve issues/queries raised clients in a timely manner and maintain a high level of client satisfaction Identify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase in operational efficiency Perform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described above Hold a university degree in Finance/ Accounting, qualified accountant or other relevant qualification will be an asset. Have a minimum of 2 years progressive accounting/ audit/ fund administration experience private equity/ debt fund or industry. Strong accounting knowledge - especially in management and performance fees calculation, FX translation, profit and lost, and balance sheet. Strong computer skills with strength in Microsoft Office products and willing to embrace new technologies for efficient solution. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is particularly asset. Knowledge of Investran accounting software would be an advantage. Good written and verbal communication skills and experience liaising with external parties.
