Assistant Controller

As the Assistant Controller, you would be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting the month-end close process, maintaining strong internal controls, and partnering with leadership to drive operational efficiency and financial accuracy. This role serves as a key member of the accounting team and acts as the primary backup to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Supervise daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and cash management.
• Support construction accounting, job costing, WIP reporting, and revenue recognition.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, audits, lender reporting, and regulatory requirements.
