Analyst, FP&A - BMS

General Purpose/Summary of Job:

Vornado’s BMS team is seeking an Analyst, FP&A to work in Paramus, NJ and be a key contributor to the BMS Finance team. The Analyst will be responsible for the production and reporting of key monthly, quarterly and annual business forecasts to management as well as external audiences.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Production of forward-looking internal/external reports for senior management; both financial metrics and key business drivers
• Integral part in establishing and developing critical departmental processes
• Production of a quarterly risk and opportunities forecast review
• Maintain property financial models using Excel and additional forecasting software
• Production of forecasted key leasing statistics and occupancy reporting
• Interface with various teams throughout the company to maintain the proper flow of information
• Partner with project team to assist with & test the conversion to new forecasting software
• Continuous evaluation and creation of processes to ensure departmental efficiency
• Support ad-hoc efforts and reporting requests from senior management

Job Qualifications:

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Financial Modeling experience a plus
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task while still exhibiting good judgment and poise in a fast-paced environment

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 1-4  years’ accounting or finance experience
• Commercial real estate industry experience a plus

Vornado Realty Trust is not offering reimbursement for relocation expenses for this position located in our Paramus, NJ office.

The starting base salary for this Paramus, NJ based position is expected to be between $75,000 and $95,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant), and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
