Summary

The purpose Directs daily accounts receivable operations to optimize cash collection, maintain accurate customer billing, and evaluate credit risk. Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and mentor AR specialists, establishing collection targets and tracking metrics (DSO, aging analysis). Oversee customer invoicing, cash application (check, ACH, credit card), and credit application reviews. Manage past-due account collections, high-risk account escalations, and bad-debt write-off requests. Reconcile the AR sub-ledger to the general ledger and prepare weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts. Partner with customer service and sales teams to resolve payment disputes and billing shortfalls.

Qualifications

Proficiency with credit management processes, ERP finance modules, and MS Excel.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience) strongly preferred. 3–5+ years of accounts receivable and collections experience, with 1–2+ years in a supervisory role.
