Accounts Receivable Coordinator - Valley Park, MO

Americas Parking Remarking (APR) is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll support all aspects of companywide receivables management, from job setup through collections, while helping ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations.

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator will work with all divisions of the company and collaborate closely with accounting staff while ensuring established policies and procedures are followed.

What You'll Do

• Track and report Cash Receipts
• Process Joint Checks
• Process 20-day liens and waivers
• Reconciliations
• Manages Collections via calls, emails, statement issuance, and overdue reminders.
• Follows up on pending Change Orders
• Maintains thorough records.
• Requests small balance Write Offs and Bad Debt Write Offs
• Filing
• Assists with other accounting needs as they arise.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1 year or more of Accounting experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Experience in collections preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good mathematical background.
• Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently.
• Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof-reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers.
• Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic.
• Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment.
• Flexibility to adapt to all situations and working varied hours to meet deadlines.
• Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced experience in Excel
• Experience with accounting software preferred.
