SUMMARY:
The Accounts Receivable – Cash Applications position is responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties within the department including cash postings and preparation of bank deposits.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (Needed/desired for this Position)
- High school diploma/associate's degree and 3+ years accounting experience, preferably accounts receivable
- Experience in accounting
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Download the ACH, Wire and Lock box each morning
- Match each remittance to the ACH & Wire
- Key Cash and post into the computer system
- Prepare the bank deposit when requested
- Maintain positive relationships with PEI employees
- Make recommendations on problem accounts and process improvements
- Assist in month-end closings and year-end financial audit
- Other duties as assigned
