Accounts Receivable Clerk

- Prepare bank deposits and maintain accurate supporting documentation
- Scanning customer checks for deposit using our bank remote deposit scanner.
- Apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts
- Monitor overdue balances and research payment discrepancies, credits and disputed charges
- Print and send customer weekly statements and invoices
- Maintain the Accounts Receivable Log for weekly customer adjustments.
- Maintain accounts receivable physical and electronic files.
- Support period end activities, including accounts receivable reconciliations, reporting and related accounting support
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial files.
- Some college preferred or equivalent experience in accounts receivable.
- Proficient in the English language.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, along with effective written, listening and verbal skills.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational skills along with time management.
- Proficient computer skills as related to job: Word, Excel, Outlook,
- Good telephone etiquette.
