The Accounting Supervisor will assist the department managers in overseeing the department associates while ensuring various accounting tasks are completed in a timely manner in accordance with Omni Hotels Standards and ensure accounts payable controls are in compliance with all Omni Hotels internal controls and SOPs.
Essential Job Functions:
Assists in supervising the department Associates and their work / productivity. Assists with accounts payable control house/manager’s fund of this property including all banks issued out of this fund for house/associate banks. Assists with reinforcement of AP purchase orders, invoices, inventories, and reporting. Assist in monitoring compliance with all disciplines affecting Finance compliance & Audit. Assist in ensuring a seamles AP process and monitor and approve Accounts Payable batches. Assist Director of Finance and Controller with requested tasks.
Qualifications:
Must have working knowledge of finance systems to include Oracle, OPera, Kronos Ultipro, Birchstreet. Must be organized and detail oriented. Prior supervisory experience in hotel setting. 5 years Accounting experience & / or equivalent education required. Bachelors Degree preferred. Previous Accounting experience experience in a labor setting. Must be flexible and able to work weekends when needed. Able to provide task force assistance as needed at Omni locations.
