Position Summary
Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead key accounts payable functions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and leading a team while ensuring accurate and timely payment operations.

What You'll Do
- Supervise and support a team of Accounts Payable professionals while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Oversee 1099 preparation, review, corrections, and annual filing processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Manage lease setup, maintenance, and reporting activities within lease accounting systems.
- Coordinate new vendor onboarding, including setup and validation of required documentation.
- Administer ACH payment setup and verification processes for vendors and employees.
- Review and process invoices, payment batches, and workflow approvals to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Manage check runs, ACH payment files, and banking activities related to payment processing.
- Handle payment exceptions, including voids, garnishments, ACH returns, and related account research.
- Perform positive pay administration and investigate outstanding or uncashed checks.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and address inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance efficiency across accounts payable operations.
- Utilize accounting systems and Microsoft Excel to analyze data, prepare reports, and support departmental objectives.
