Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for an accounts payable specialist to join our growing team in our Springfield, MA location.

What You’ll Do:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the timely processing and payment of vendor invoices, credit card statements, and employee expense reimbursements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in reconciling vendor statements.
• Reviews and codes all invoices in accounting system for approval prior to payment.
• Responds to all vendor inquiries.
• Assists in month-end closing.
• Processes check requests on a weekly basis
• Enters employee expense reimbursements into the accounting system for payment.
• Reviews A/P aging report and communicates aged payables and issues with invoices and/or vendor payments.

What You’ll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Some prior accounts payable experience (preferred)
• Intermediate in MS Excel and Microsoft Outlook (required)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (Hybrid - typically Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri)

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
