Location: Brampton, ON
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Compensation: $43,000/year (Salaried) + Annual Salary Increase
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (35 hours/week)
Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Associate for one of our clients located in Brampton, Ontario.
About the Role
Our client is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and clerical duties related to the accounts payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and vendors are paid on time.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and has strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Match, code, and process accounts payable invoices.
- Enter invoices accurately into the accounting system.
- Prepare and process vendor payments.
- Investigate and resolve invoice, purchase order, and payment discrepancies.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts payable invoices.
- Complete month-end accounts payable closing activities.
- Maintain organized filing of cheques and accounting reports.
- Respond to supplier inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Follow company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of two years of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Previous Accounts Payable experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Annual salary of $43,000
- Annual salary increases
- Weekly pay (every Friday)
- Employer-paid benefits
- Employer/Employee pension contributions (5% each) after one year of service
- Vacation eligibility after six months of employment
- Stable Monday–Friday schedule with evenings and weekends off
