Accounting Manager

We’re looking for an Accounting Manager who is excited to manage GTN’s accounting team and oversee the firm’s day-to-day accounting functions. This role combines strong accounting leadership with management of accounting operations, close and reporting processes, internal controls, team performance, and department workflows. As GTN grows (e.g., acquisitions, expansion into additional countries), you’ll get involved in the development of scalable multi-entity accounting and consolidation processes.

• You bring strong accounting knowledge and understand how to apply GAAP and company policy to day-to-day transactions and financial events
• You are comfortable leading daily accounting operations, including account reconciliations, monthly financial reporting, and monitoring the general ledger
• You have experience overseeing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• You can monitor and maintain accounting records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other key financial information
• You understand the importance of effective internal controls and can help maintain processes that support accurate financial reporting
• You have experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidation – intercompany transactions, eliminations, and foreign currency translation – or you have the technical grounding to build that capability with us
• You can execute multi-entity close; entity-level close, intercompany reconciliation, eliminations, and currency translation
• You can prepare consolidated reporting and be able to explain to the Director, Finance what caused account fluctuations and why
• You’ve worked in Sage Intacct—or have the technical savvy to pick it up quickly—including its multi-entity structure and dimensions
• You enjoy improving procedures, strengthening department workflow, and finding ways to increase accuracy, efficiency, and output
• You can lead accounting team members, allocate work appropriately, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
• You have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory role, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Experience with multi-entity consolidation, foreign currency, and/or acquisition integration is strongly preferred

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range is $90,000 – 120,000/year. Actual compensation is determined by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant accounting experience, qualifications, certifications and licensures, skills, and geographic location.
