Accounting Manager

One Stop Home Repair | Orono, Maine

One Stop Home Repair is seeking an experienced, hands-on Accounting Manager to take responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of our financial operations.

This is not solely a supervisory or strategic position. The Accounting Manager must be able to personally perform and oversee the company’s core accounting work while developing staff, improving processes, and providing leadership with dependable financial information.

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have demonstrated, recent experience performing full-cycle accounting work, including reconciliations and month-end close. Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and spreadsheets is required.

Candidates must also demonstrate:

Experience in construction, home services, job costing, cash-flow planning, divisional reporting, or Service Fusion is preferred.

Candidates should expect a structured interview and a practical, job-related accounting work sample. This position carries meaningful responsibility for protecting the company’s financial picture, supporting its employees, and providing leadership with information it can confidently use.
