Overview:
The Accounting Manager plays an important role in helping
the bank maintain accurate financial information, strong controls, and confidence
in its reporting. By supporting audits, regulatory expectations, and key accounting
processes, this role helps the company manage risk, make informed decisions,
and continue earning the trust of customers, regulators, auditors, and
shareholders.
What You’ll Do:
Day in the Life – Every day you will oversee key accounting
activities that support accurate financial reporting, and strong internal
controls. In this role, you will prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and
annual financial reports, reconciliations, journal entries, variance analyses,
regulatory reporting, and support for SEC-related disclosures. You will partner
with external auditors, assist with audit preparation and follow-up requests,
and contribute to specialized accounting areas including allowance for credit
losses and purchased loan portfolio analysis. You will also help lead, train,
and mentor an accounting team member while identifying process improvements and automation opportunities that
increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3 - 5 years of experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet experience
