Accounting Coordinator

Overview

AmeriWater is a long-established industry leader in the design, manufacture, installation and supply of water purification systems and services for dialysis, industrial and healthcare applications. We are looking for a Accounting Coordinator to join our growing team in Dayton, Ohio!

Onsite: Dayton, Ohio 45414

Relocation: None  

Primary Responsibilities

Customer Invoicing

• Prepare, review and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Verify billing data, pricing and supporting documentation prior to invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts and tax requirements.
• Administer all aspects of water testing invoicing process.
• Process credit memos and billing adjustments as needed.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date invoice records.

Accounts Receivable Support

• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports. 
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment status.

Accounting & Administrative Support

• Assist with month-end closing activities related to receivables.
• Reconcile customer accounts and prepare statements.
• Support audits by providing required documentation.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred. 
• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience. 

Skills & Attributes

• High level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of meeting tight deadlines. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP systems a plus.
