Objective: The Accounts Payable/Accounting Clerk is responsible for working closely with all staff within the accounting department and being fully cross trained within all job responsibilities, including daily accounting functions, wire transfers, and accounts payable.
Classification: This is a Full-Time Non-Exempt position and reports to the Chief Financial Officer
Location: Kokomo- Administration Building

- Processing of incoming and outgoing wire transfers
- Posting of Journal Entries Daily and FMS Description Entries
- Processing of Accounts Payable invoices and Simplifile Charges
- Cash Letter Adjustments for the Federal Reserve
- Processing Canadian Checks for Collection
- Reporting for the FR 2644
- Management of supply requisitions for the various branches
- Processing of Interest Checks
- Daily Cash Management for correspondent banks
- Assisting with other duties of the accounting department as needed

Qualifications:
- Ability to work well within a Team
- Experience in banking or accounting preferred
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and exercise discretion
- The ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
- A high level of proficiency in excel is preferred
