Position Summary and Responsibilities: The Accounting Clerk will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining records related to our fleet, renewing vehicle registrations, obtaining vehicle titles, calculating related expenses, performing account reconciliations, preparing monthly reporting, preparing and filing statutory filings as required, routing and coding invoices related to the corporate office, and supporting ad hoc projects as needed. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy to ensure the effective management of our fleet records and related accounting activities.

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts Maintain records and complete monthly reports for our fleet and their related expenses Route and code invoices relating to the corporate office Review and code toll charges Complete required government surveys and reports Assist with vehicle registrations, obtaining titles and related tax filings Complete monthly reports related to our fleet Perform additional tasks and duties as required by the needs of the business

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to prioritize, maintain accuracy and handle multiple tasks in a changing environment A proven ability to solve problems and drive tasks to completion with little to no direction High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
