• Lead and oversee the company’s accounting and finance functions, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient financial operations.
• Supervise and develop the accounting and finance team, providing guidance and establishing performance expectations.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), general ledger, reconciliations, and other core accounting functions.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in coordination with senior management.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, expenses, profitability, and overall financial performance.
• Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to senior management to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve accuracy, efficiency, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax professionals, financial institutions, and other external partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, manage costs, strengthen cash flow, and improve profitability.
• Collaborate with department leaders on budgeting, financial planning, cost management, and other business initiatives.
• Support senior management with financial analysis, special projects, and other business planning initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience managing accounting and finance teams and overseeing financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
• Experience working with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial institutions.
• CPA preferred.
• Logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding industry experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, ethical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
