Scope
Under general supervision, provides a broad range of accounting tasks including process commission statements and reports and analyzing data to meet business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Reconcile commission statements in Ascend
- Review and post commission statements from Ascend into the Global Green Agency Management System (Epic)
- Balance the commissions statements against Epic and properly record the variance
- Research and drive resolution on missing policies
- Ensure the correct commission rates are entered in the Epic
- Research and resolve Direct Bill questions on a periodic basis
- Thoroughly research and drive resolution for unidentified (orphan) commissions
- Communicate with franchisees to resolve exceptions.
- Escalate unresolved items to supervisor per pre-determined aging timeline
- Learn and understand commonly used terms in the insurance industry
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and Experience
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years� experience in Accounting/Finance or a related field. Applicant should have knowledge of commonly used Accounting concepts, practices and procedures and must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
