Job Description for Revenue Analyst – System

The Revenue Analyst will play an integral role in the Financial support team and will be responsible for analyzing data to identify system integration issues as well as data input discrepancies to ensure accurate Customer Profitability Reporting.

This position will be responsible for developing and executing controls to ensure data integrity, as well as performing testing of system enhancements. The position requires an aptitude for systems, basic accounting knowledge, strong Excel skills and a desire to become the subject matter expert.

The key job responsibilities will include:  Performing controls and reconciliations to ensure revenue and billing data is accurately integrated into our Revenue Management System.  Identifying root cause of integration failures resulting from data integrity issues  Updating contract set ups when inaccuracies are identified  Documenting newly identified or updated control processes  Acting as a liaison between IT and Finance team to support root cause identification of system defects and system enhancement design and testing  Contract maintenance for expired contracts  Updating contracts for monthly revenue activity via system loader  Monthly contract/account reconciliations to validate balances  Validating new contract system setups
