Accounting Specialist 6 Months Location: This position is housed in a hybrid work environment with in-office requirements 3-5 days/week in Downtown Phoenix, AZ Hours: Max 40 hours/weekThe Accounting Specialist is a temporary position responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting duties for the Client. The Client is about to go through an audit and the current staff will be focusing on establishing efficiencies and improving internal controls at this time. This role requires an understanding of accounting best practices, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 1-2 years of experience Proficient in MS Excel Must demonstrate attention to detail Strong analytical skills Ability to use accounting software Strong organizational skills Strong data entry skillsRequired Skills Strong attention to detail Data Entry Accounting Software/ ExcelPreferred Skills Background in accounts payable
