Position Overview

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other general accounting duties. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel. You will play a crucial role in helping the AZDOHS enhance efficiencies and improve internal controls during an upcoming audit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to use accounting software
• Strong organizational and data entry skills

• Background in accounts payable

Project Details:

• Duration: 6-month contract
• Hours: Max 40 hours/week
• Location: Hybrid work environment with in-office requirements 3-5 days/week in Downtown Phoenix, AZ
