Your Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible for payment processing within special programs and FLAIR, including:
- Medical Quality Assurance Refunds
- Process includes reviewing the refund application for completeness including all applicable signatures, reviewing FLAIR for vendor profile, requesting new profiles if not available, and manual entry of payment into FLAIR.
- Lease Payments
- Once monthly, process lease payments manually in FLAIR after reviewing invoice and accounting information for accuracy with the encumbrance file and lease agreement.
On occasion, this position is responsible for assisting the Accountant IVs with special payment processing which includes: Utilities, Telephone Payments, Journal Transfers, Medical Records, and State Trauma payments.
Assemble vouchers daily for the work done in previous day processing. This process may include printing vouchers and preparing them for Department of Financial Services review.
Assist in the year end processing, if needed.
Perform additional duties, as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position. Utilization of personal computers. Knowledge of MS office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook), information gathering techniques, problem solving techniques and mathematic basics. Incumbent must have good communication skills, customer services skills and ability to communicate effectively with others in English language
