What You'll Do
As the Accountant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Accounting Department and helping maintain the financial health of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions
- Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger
- Assisting with month-end close and journal entries
- Performing account reconciliations
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Auditing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions
- Assisting with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities as needed
- Tracking and reconciling monthly physical inventory
- Completing special accounting projects
- Providing additional support to the Accounting team as needed
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Experience maintaining financial records and posting accounting transactions
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with 10-key entry
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
- QuickBooks experience is a plus

Physical Requirements
This position primarily works in an office environment and requires prolonged sitting, computer use, occasional standing and walking, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds when necessary.
