About Vantage Data Centers
Vantage Data Centers powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world’s well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises. Developing and operating across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data center design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.
Procurement Department
The Procurement team is responsible for securing the equipment Vantage’s data centers require to function. The team leads these efforts from conception through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, New Site Development, and Engineering along the way. Procurement also works closely with vendor partners to come up with a vertically integrated design, and we manage these partners to deliver the projects on schedule and budget. Vantage is unique in that our technical staff is given the responsibility and authority to directly drive the process. Our internal team can align long-term operational sustainability with value engineering and cost metrics to deliver products aligned with corporate goals. This approach empowers each member of the team to drive high- impact decisions and even more impactful results.

This is a supporting function, accountable for procurement operations performance, supplier governance, commercial structure, and lifecycle optimization, not day-to-day site operations or enterprise-wide procurement strategy.

Ensure transparent supplier performance reporting and alignment with Operations and COO leadership.
Manage procurement execution for repair and maintenance and preventative maintenance services in alignment with Procurement leadership direction.

Execute critical spare parts strategies, including inventory approaches, stocking models, supplier frameworks, and rapid fulfillment capabilities.
Partner with Operations to align critical spares strategies with failure risk, lead times, and site-level needs while balancing working capital efficiency with uptime protection.
Ensure procurement frameworks enable 24/7 emergency response capability across all critical systems.
Support Operations during major incident scenarios through supplier mobilization and contractual enforcement.
Ensure customer-facing SLAs are embedded into supplier contracts and service delivery frameworks.
Partner with Operations to ensure external customer commitments are achievable and supply chain risks are mitigated through effective service design.
Manage procurement execution for data center security services, including physical security manpower, guarding, access control personnel, CCTV, surveillance infrastructure, access control systems, software licensing, and upgrades.
Ensure security procurement activities comply with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage and enhance global frameworks for equipment end-of-life management and lifecycle transitions.
Manage programs for recycling, responsible disposal, reuse, and refurbishment where viable.
Integrate end-of-life considerations into supplier contracts, total cost of ownership models, capacity planning inputs, and service strategies.
Enable and govern systems for asset tracking, asset registries, configuration management, and maintenance and service history integration.
Ensure alignment between procurement systems, operational asset data, and service providers to support accurate, real-time asset visibility.
Support Operations with asset visibility to improve maintenance planning, spares management, and lifecycle decision-making.
Provide procurement and supply chain support for small expansions, in-life capital works, capacity expansions, equipment upgrades, and retrofits.
Ensure supplier frameworks enable fast execution, minimal disruption to live operations, standardization, and compliance.
Support total cost of ownership optimization across the asset lifecycle.
