About the Opportunity

A well-established organization is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join its growing Treasury and Finance team in Charlotte. This is a newly opened opportunity for an accounting or finance professional who is interested in developing their Treasury expertise while working alongside an experienced, collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting, understand debits and credits, and be comfortable working with financial data and technology. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to Treasury operations, financial systems, reconciliations, variance research, and other accounting-related responsibilities.

The team is open to a range of experience levels. Approximately three years of accounting or Treasury experience is preferred, but candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong accounting fundamentals, Excel skills, and the ability to learn quickly will be considered. More experienced candidates may also be considered based on their background.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Treasury and accounting-related activities
• Work with financial data, transactions, and account activity to ensure accuracy
• Apply knowledge of debits, credits, and fundamental accounting principles
• Research and resolve discrepancies, variances, and differences
• Utilize Excel to analyze financial information and identify trends or inconsistencies
• Prepare and manipulate data using PivotTables and VLOOKUP
• Work within Workday and other financial systems
• Assist with reconciliations and research related to Treasury and accounting activity
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and work toward appropriate solutions
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Adapt to changing priorities, processes, and business needs
• Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, and other internal teams
• Learn new systems, processes, and Treasury functions quickly
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow issues through to resolution

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 years of accounting, Treasury, or related finance experience preferred
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Candidates without a degree may be considered with relevant accounting or Treasury experience
• Intermediate Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP
• Comfortable working with financial systems and technology
• Experience with Workday is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate variances
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fully onsite environment
