Job Description

Job Summary:

The Trade Compliance Manager is responsible for leading the import and export compliance program for multiple Teledyne Marine business units within the US, Mexico and Canada. This position serves as the primary subject matter expert for international trade compliance and is accountable for ensuring compliance with applicable import and export regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), U.S. Customs Regulations, Controlled goods, AEA, and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.The incumbent develops, implements, and maintains trade compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls; provides guidance to business stakeholders; manages licensing and classification activities; conducts audits and assessments; and supports the mitigation of trade compliance risks across assigned business units.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is a senior Trade Compliance leadership role responsible for leading compliance initiatives and supporting strategic objectives across assigned business units. The role does not currently have direct reports but provides guidance and mentorship to less experienced personnel and may assume supervisory responsibility as the organization evolves.

Work Authorization Requirement

Due to the nature of the work performed, this position may require access to export-controlled information governed by ITAR. Accordingly, the employee must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined under applicable export control regulations.
