Tax Specialist

Reporting to the Supervisor or Manager in Tax Operations, the incumbent of the position is primarily responsible for handling transactions with various levels of complexity. Position Responsibilities: Review and process received transactions accurately and in a timely manner. This includes but not limited to federal/provincial remittances, financial/non-financial policy changes, tax calculations, investigating discrepancies. Respond to general tax inquiries from clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders. Process year-end production tax slips timely and accurately, Provide excellent service to internal and external clients, whether emails, phone calls or correspondence. Respond to inquiries received from internal and external clients, after appropriate research and analysis. To do this, find the best way to solve the problem and accurately process the necessary operations. Required to meet daily service level agreements and high accuracy results. Collaborates with teams located in various offices to achieve dynamic volumes and meet service standards. Demonstrates a positive attitude in finding solutions to problems. Contribute to the optimization of service efficiency by suggesting process improvements.
