Tax Manager, U.S. Tax Reporting & Compliance (ECN Capital)

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead the preparation and review of U.S. federal and state income tax returns and support the Company's income tax reporting function. This role is heavily focused on corporate and partnership tax compliance, including the preparation of Forms 1120 and 1065, quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740, estimated tax payments, tax forecasting, and tax process improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong technical tax expertise, hands-on experience preparing complex corporate and partnership returns, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. This position will be working for Triads parent company, ECN Capital. 

1. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare U.S. federal and state income tax returns, including consolidated Forms 1120 and related state filings. 
• Prepare partnership tax returns (Forms 1065), K-1 reporting, and related tax workpapers. The candidate must have practical experience with partnership taxation.
• Manage quarterly estimated tax payments, tax extensions, and state compliance obligations. 
• Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 and support tax accounting analyses. 
• Perform tax return-to-provision and provision-to-return analyses and assist with year-end reporting requirements. 
• Analyze tax payables, receivables, deferred tax assets and liabilities, and cash tax positions. 
• Manage tax data collection and maintain tax software, including GoSystem Tax RS account mapping and tax data imports.
• Assist with tax audits, tax notices, and inquiries from federal, state, and local tax authorities. 
• Work closely with Accounting, FP&A, external auditors, and tax advisors to support compliance and reporting activities. 
• Support tax planning initiatives, acquisitions, restructurings, and special projects.

1. Education/Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting / Finance
• CPA preferred; Master's in Taxation is a plus.

1. Experience:

• Minimum 5-7 years of industry or public accounting experience in the areas described above is desirable.
