Tax Managers are responsible for the success, retention, and satisfaction of their team and clients by empowering and upskilling staff, overseeing tax compliance services, and developing strong, lasting client relationships. As a Tax Manager, you will build and maintain client relationships through retention strategies and exceptional service delivery. Tax Managers are responsible for overseeing tax compliance services, which may include reviewing and delivering multi-state Individual, Partnership, and S-Corporation tax returns (among other types of returns) as well as the corresponding workpapers that support those tax returns.

Beyond compliance, Managers drive team execution by setting clear goals, holding staff accountable to deadlines, quality, and revenue metrics, and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement. Tax Managers also identify process and efficiency opportunities, implement solutions within their teams, and collaborate with Senior Managers and firm leadership to enhance client service and team performance. In addition, you will participate in and assist teamwide initiatives to drive process improvements, cross-team communication through collaboration, and enhanced client service.

As a team leader, you will provide strategic guidance and coaching across all staff levels to ensure goals, objectives, and processes are clearly communicated, understood, and consistently executed. You will also focus on developing future leaders, fostering accountability, and creating high-performing teams that deliver best-in-class service to both clients and colleagues.
