Job Description

As a Tax Manager, you will oversee tax preparers, engage with clients to devise tax strategies, and ensure the quality and efficiency of tax filings. Your role will include reviewing and submitting tax returns, providing consultations, and contributing to non-tax services and consulting during the off-season.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to prepare and review annual tax returns for personal and business (1040, 1065, 1120S).

• Oversee tax preparers and manage the tax filing process to ensure a quick turnaround.

• Address client concerns and ensure the quality of tax filings.

• Review and submit tax returns for e-filing.

• Provide tax consultations as needed.

• Contribute to non-tax services and consulting during the off-season, including bookkeeping and other tasks.

Qualifications

• CPA Licensure (or progress towards licensure).

• Preferred 3-4 years of tax preparation experience.

• Preferred 1-2 years of tax review experience.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Availability to work extended hours during tax season with full days in-office required.

• Experience with Drake Software is a plus.
